Democracy or Plutocracy?

Democracy: “government by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them.”

Plutocracy: ” the rule or power of wealth or of the wealthy.”

So what’s it going to be? Democracy of Plutocracy?
